This was a series done with a unique process. I had these 5 metal plates and I covered each of them with items from different important aspects of my childhood. I then clamped all of the plates on top of one another and left them to cook in a crockpot full of a mixture of chemicals are meant to sear the designs into the metal plates. Once the plates were done cooking and cooling, I scanned the results into photoshop and cleaned it up while also adding a few more details to the pieces to complete their stories.
